A meeting was held to prepare and hold the Russian Energy Week
International Forum 2025 with the participation of the Minister of Energy of
the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev, Deputy Ministers of Energy of
the Russian Federation, Director General of the Russian Energy Agency of the
Ministry of Energy of Russia Alexey Kulapin, and Deputy CEO of the
Roscongress Foundation, Director of Russian Energy Week Vladimir Zatynayko.
The meeting, in particular, presented preliminary results of the preparations
and outlined the industry-specific areas of the business programme.
Emphasizing
the importance of the upcoming event, Russian Minister of Energy Sergey
Tsivilev noted: “Our main task is to provide the Russian population and
industry with all types of energy resources that are available both technically
and financially.”
The Forum organizers received more than 60 proposals for the event from
the Ministry of Energy, the Russian Energy Agency, federal and regional
authorities, industry organizations, and leading universities. As noted by Alexei
Kulapin, General Director, Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of
Energy of Russia: “The Forum's business programme includes 33 discussion
events. They are divided into four thematic tracks: ‘International Cooperation:
Joining Forces’; ‘Sustainable Development: Adapting to the New Reality’; ‘Technology
as a Key Driver of Energy’; and ‘Russia's Fuel and Energy Complex: Development Strategy’.
Another format is business breakfasts."
In addition, special attention was paid to the second venue of the Russian Energy Week: Gostiny Dvor. This year, it will host a scientific and practical conference entitled ‘Territory of Energy Dialogue’ and an exhibition that will showcase the achievements and innovations in global energy. Both events are aimed at demonstrating the progress made in the development of the fuel and energy sectors of each participating country, highlighting the contribution of participants to the formation of a sustainable and promising energy future for the planet. The event will allow companies to present their latest developments to a wide audience, establish useful contacts and strengthen their positions in the international market.
The meeting noted that participants in the business programme on 15–17 October at Gostiny Dvor will not be charged additional fees, and that the cost of participation for exhibitors in the exhibition and main business programme is in line with market rates.
