Russian Energy Week announces winners of debut Best Employer Award in the Fuel and Energy Complex

4 winners and 8 laureates were named in the first-ever award recognizing companies in Russia’s fuel-energy and industrial sectors for their achievements in attracting, developing, and supporting personnel. The award ceremony for the winners took place on Youth Day of the Russian Energy Week International Forum.

A panel of experts including representatives of ministries, industry associations, youth organizations, and HR professionals, evaluated company cases and projects focused on human resource development and the implementation of innovative HR management programmes.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak took part in the award ceremony honouring winners in four categories.

The award is aimed at promoting engineering professions and developing human potential in key sectors of the economy,” he said. “A total of 43 energy companies submitted 55 applications. We expect that participation and achievements in this award will enhance employee loyalty, strengthen fuel and energy companies in the labor market, and make this award an annual event.

“New Approach” category recognized companies implementing innovative and effective methods for recruiting, adapting, and retaining personnel. The winner was YATEK, laureates included EuroChem and Transenergo (a branch of Russian Railways).

“Investment in the Future” category honoured companies that view employee training as a key to success and sustainable growth. ALROSA won, laureates included Zarubezhneft and System Operator of the Unified Energy System.

“Career Start” category acknowledged companies with comprehensive and effective programmes in career guidance and mentorship aimed at attracting talented specialists. Rosatom State Corporation was the winner, laureates included Rosseti and Gazprom.

“HR Transformation” category focused on innovative approaches and technologies in human resources management that improve business efficiency and workforce operations. EuroChem became a winner, laureates included Gazprom Energoholding and Zarubezhneft.

The award was organized by the Reliable Change Charitable Foundation with the support of the Organizing Committee of the Russian Energy Week International Forum.

The Russian Energy Week took place in Moscow from 15 to 17 October. REW 2025 was supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Government of Moscow, and was organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
