Panel discussion: Energy Map of Opportunities

The Content Foundation

When we talk about energy, we usually imagine power plants, transmission lines, or modern generation technologies. But for schoolchildren and students, energy also means a range of educational paths, university choices, vibrant student life, and the first steps in a career. Together, these elements form their personal “energy map”, a route that guides them into the future. A career in energy does not build itself. It develops step by step: from a conscious choice of university and participation in early projects to professional growth in leading companies. This path requires preparation, knowledge, and the right guidance. That is why real stories and the experiences of those who have already walked this road, and are ready to share their journeys, are so valuable.
Key questions for discussion:
Which directions and career paths in energy are most in demand today?
How can young people understand where to begin and how to make the right choice?
Which skills and qualities help build a successful career in the sector?
What development opportunities are offered by universities, student projects, and first jobs?
How is the energy industry changing today, and what new prospects does it open for young people?

Speakers:
Petr Konyushenko — Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation
Anastasia Pankiv
Svetlana Suleymanova
